KUSTOM CARS & HOTRODS
Swimming against the stream has been a motif in my life for as long as I can remember. One of the most visable ways to rebel against the dominant paradigm is to drive a far-out looking vehicle. After many years, I've honed this rebellion into a deep respect for traditional-style hotrods and kustoms, very much like the kind of cars built by WWII veterans and pompadoured teenagers in the '40's and '50's. This was a golden era of innovative american street-engineering and these vehicles still send a shiver up my spine!
Here's a few that I've built:

1929 MODEL A ROADSTER This car has been a real labor of love. I've been building this for the past 4 years. It is powered by a 1955 Oldsmobile Rocket engine and was originally a 'Sport Coupe' model. There was a ton of fabrication involved with this project including the hand-made windshield-frame, engine-mounts, and headers. |

1936 FORD 5-WINDOW COUPE This is the latest project - stay tuned for more!! |

1948 CHEVROLET This truck was powered by very powerful 350 engine and was driven all the way from California to Florida, where it now lives with it's new owner. Along the way we blew a radiator in the Arizona desert, built a new rear-end and more in Albuquerque, and did a little drag-racing in Texas! |

1966 CHRYSLER 300 I found this rusty boat in Big Sur, CA and spent many hours in our carport replacing the engine, welding trim-holes, repairing rusted panels and fabbing the custom tail-lights. I eventually painted it VW green with a silver metalflake roof one day before selling it. |

1955 OLDSMOBILE This '55 has been clipped with a Camaro subframe, and had a 455 big-block Olds engine installed as well as the usual kustom touches including shaved doors, hood and deck lid. Now I just need to finish it!! |
